Privacy Policy

This page is maintained by Pear Show to explain how the Service handles personal data. It is not independent verification or certification.

1. Data We Collect

• Account data: email, password hash, store name, role.
• Show data: sales you record (buyer handle, item, price, timestamp), labels printed, AI coach interactions.
• Buyer/fan data you import (handles, emails, phone numbers, order history) for your Fan Club add-on.
• Billing data processed by Stripe (we never see your full card number).
• Usage data: pages visited, feature usage, basic device/browser info.

2. How We Use Data

• Operate, secure, and improve the Service.
• Generate analytics, AI coach tips, and recaps for you.
• Send you transactional emails (receipts, password resets, security notices).
• Comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell your data, and we do not use buyer/fan data you upload to train shared AI models.

3. Subprocessors

We share data with these vendors strictly to operate the Service:

• Supabase (database, authentication, storage)
• Cloudflare (hosting, CDN)
• Stripe (payments)
• Google (Gemini AI for coach features)
• Resend (transactional email via notify.pearshow.com)

4. Cookies

We use first-party cookies and localStorage for authentication and session management. We do not run third-party advertising cookies.

5. Retention

We retain account and show data for as long as your account is active. After cancellation, we retain data for up to 90 days for recovery, then delete or anonymize it. Billing records are retained as required by law.

6. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction (e.g., GDPR, CCPA), you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data. Email privacy@pearshow.com and we will respond within 30 days.

7. Buyer / Fan Data You Upload

If you upload buyer or fan contact information, you are the data controller for that data. You represent that you have a lawful basis to collect and process it, and you are responsible for honoring opt-outs and applicable marketing laws (CAN-SPAM, TCPA, GDPR, etc.).

8. Security

We use TLS in transit, encrypted storage at rest with our infrastructure providers, row-level security on the database, and role-based access controls. No system is perfectly secure; report concerns to security@pearshow.com.

9. Children

Pear Show is not directed to children under 18 and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

10. Changes

We will post any material changes to this policy here and update the "Last updated" date. Significant changes will be emailed to account holders.
